There is a secure parking lot across the street, as well as ample street parking on weeknights and weekends.

Monday

7:30pm-9:30pm – Hollywood Scarlets & Rocket Queens

8:30pm-10:30pm – Shore Shots & Road Ragers

Tuesday
7:30pm-9:30pm – Shore Shots & Road Ragers

Note: Scarlets and Queens who are unable to make Thursday practices are permitted to drop in on Tuesdays.

Thursday
7:30pm-9:30pm – Hollywood Scarlets & Rocket Queens

Note: If you would like to drop in on a Thursday practice, please contact Training.

Saturday (Scrimmage Day)

9am-1130am Hollywood Scarlets

9am-1230pm Rocket Queens

11am-130pm Shore Shots

12pm-230pm Road Ragers

FAQ

Who can participate?

Practices are open to Angel City league members and visiting drop-in skaters with derby experience. Email skate@angelcityderby.com to become a member.

If you’re interested in becoming an Angel but don’t have roller skating or derby experience, check out our New Recruits and Rookies programs.

What gear do I need?

All skaters need a full set of skating gear (mouth guard, helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, knee pads, skates) to attend practice.

How much does it cost to participate?

All skaters must have current and active WFTDA Insurance ($70 annual fee). Please see the Payment Information page for more details about monthly dues and drop-in practice fees.

Do I need insurance?

Every skater must have active WFTDA Insurance to attend practice. To get covered:

  1. Purchase WFTDA Personal Accident Medical Insurance ($70/skater/year) at wftdi.com.

  2. Email insurance@angelcityderby.com the following:

    • Screenshot of purchase confirmation

    • WFTDI Skater ID number

    • Name

    • Derby Name

Angel City Derby recommends having personal health insurance in addition to WFTDA Insurance.
