Angel of the Month, March – Arie Hell!

Up where she jams, pivots for fun,

Up where she skates in the LA sun…

Rolling and free, so glad that she’s

Part of our world!!!

That’s right, Angel City Derby’s March Angel of the Month is Arie Hell! Hailing from across the pond, Arie transferred from Delta Quads, in Rhein-Neckar, Germany just 6 short months ago and has already made an enormous impact on the league.

Arie brings a treasure trove of experience to Angel City as a former player and coach of Delta Quad’s Travel Team and as an early founding member of the ShangHigh Rollers in China.

A true triple threat, Arie has wowed ACD as a hard-hitting jammer, strategic pivot and cohesive blocker while playing on the Shore Shots. So much so that we are thrilled to say that Arie is now one of the newest members of our Travel Team. (CONGRATULATIONS!!!)

Arie’s contributions to ACD go far beyond the track. With a Degree in Sinology; the study of Chinese language, history, customs, and politics and as a current film student, Arie is one smart cookie. Sharing her experience, smarts and love for technology, Arie has led the revamping and implementation of Angel City’s new communication platform. She diligently transferred all of the league’s communication and information to a single system and even hosted personal training sessions with each member. We would be lost without you, Arie!!!

If you couldn’t tell by the intro, Arie’s derby name is in fact related to that purple clamshell wearing mermaid. An Aquarius born on January 26 (126 is her number), Arie’s mom carefully picked her fitting name after the famous Disney princess from the sea!

Don’t miss Arie Hell as she plays with the Shore Shots Saturday March 3 at Culver City Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium and be sure to wish her a big Congratulations on earning her spot on the Angel City Derby Travel Team! We are so proud and happy to have you!
